Each group will present its project as an A0 portrait poster. The template below is a LaTeX Beamer poster you can compile with pdflatex. Replace the red placeholders with your group's content.

Deadlines

Poster (both .tex source and compiled .pdf): email to hoxide@gmail.com by 23:59, Sun 5 Jul 2026.
Presentation: Tue 7 Jul 2026, 15:00–18:00, A4#G11 — 40 minutes per group.
Final report (2–3 pages, PDF): each student emails a report on the part of the project they personally worked on by 23:59, Sun 19 Jul 2026 (end of Reading Week). One report per student — do not summarise the whole project.

How to compile

Put all three files (.tex, .sty, XMU2.png) in the same folder, then:

pdflatex group-project-poster-template.tex

This produces a single-page A0 portrait PDF. If you use Overleaf, create a new project and upload all three files.

What to put on the poster

The poster is a presentation announcement, not a project report. Keep it short.

Presentation title.
Members — full names.
Group photo — required, must include all members.
Abstract (150–200 words) — the project question, the method or workflow, and the preliminary results. This is the abstract for the 40-minute presentation. Do not turn the poster into a full report.

Rules

Poster is A0 portrait, single page. Do not split into multiple sheets.
Keep the XMU logo and the department footer bar intact.
All red placeholder text in the template must be replaced with your own content.
